A venture into La La Land

Last Saturday Hollywood glamour came to Bantock House in Wolverhampton, for an outdoor screening of La La Land in the grounds of the house.

The weather threatened and indeed the heavens did open but the rain didn’t dampen the spirits of those that came. Cinema-goers were also treated to music from retro girl group The Miss Fortunes as they set up for the evenings film.

The screening was organised and promoted by Finchfield and Castlecroft Community Association, supported by BCT Community Cinema, Creative Black Country, and Films in a Flash.

Over 250 tickets were sold with many people enjoying the recent blockbuster on the big screen despite the unfortunate downturn in the weather. It was a night of music, Hollywood glamour, umbrella’s, and true British grit.

Thanks to everyone who came along.
