08 Jan Comedy Course beginning in February
Starting on the 1st of February there will be a six week stand up comedy course led by Women & Theatre’s Artistic Director, Janice Connolly (a.k.a comedy circuit headliner Mrs Barbara Nice). The comedy course provides a great opportunity for women from all cultures and backgrounds to develop stand up skills and have a laugh together.
Over five weekly sessions community group the Wolvereanz are offering participants the chance to work with Janice Connolly in developing their skills and confidence in stand-up comedy, and to produce their own 3-5 minute set. There will also be a showcase performance working alongside Barbara Nice at the end of the course.
All sessions and the showcase will be held at Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton. The course is supported by Black Country Touring, Creative Black Country and Women of Wolverhampton.

- Monday 1st February 2016 (10am – 1pm)
- Monday 8th February 2016 (10am – 1pm)
- Monday 22nd February 2016 (10am – 1pm)
- Monday 29th February 2016 (10am – 1pm)
- Monday 7th March 2016 (10am – 1pm)
- Friday 11th March (Evening Comedy Showcase)
