The True Cost

Throughout September and October, Wolverhampton for Everyone are curating a film festival to inspire people to take action, participate and make change! Each film will explore a different theme, including global environmental challenges, fast fashion and the garment industry, the environmental impact of food waste, urban food growing, and the importance of wild spaces and the outdoors to children. Delicious ‘pay-as-you-feel’ food will be served up by the ‘Real Junk Food Project’ pop-up caf and each screening will have a speaker and opportunity for discussion surrounding the film’s themes. For up to date information on titles and guests please see the events tab on Gatis Community Space Facebook page: www.facebook.com/gatiscommunityspace/

Filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest slums, and featuring interviews with the world’s leading influencers including Stella McCartney, Livia Firth and Vandana Shiva, The True Cost is an unprecedented project that invites us on an eye opening journey around the world and into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes.
